पिछोला झील :-
- चौदवहीं शताब्दी मे राणा लाखा के शासनकाल मे एक बंजारे द्वारा पिछोला गाँव के निकट इसका निर्माण करवाया गया था महाराणा उदयसिंह ने इसकी मरम्मत करवाई
- वर्तमान मे यह मनोरम झील उदयपुर नगर के पश्चिम मे लगभग 7 किमी की लंबाई मे फैली है।
- सीसारमा व बुझडा नदियाँ इस झील को जलापुर्ति करती है।

- झील मे स्थित दो टापुओ पर जगनिवास एंव जगमंदिर महल बने हुये है यहाँ लेक पैलेस होटल है।
- महाराणा कर्णसिंह के समय जगमंदिर महल मे शहजादा खुर्रम अर्थात शाहजहाँ ने अपने पिता जहाँगीर से विद्रोह के समय शरण ली थी
- जंगमंदिर महल मे ही 1857 ईस्वी मे राष्टीय आंदोलन के दौरान महाराणा स्वरूप सिंह ने नीमच की छावनी से भागकर आये 40 अंग्रेजो को शरण देकर क्रांतिकारियो से बचाया था।
Jag Mandir palace
- जगनिवास महल को लैक पेलेस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इस महल का निर्माण महाराणा जगतसिंह ने 1746 ईस्वी मे करवाया था।
- यह महल विश्व के सुंदरतम महलो मे से एक माना जाता है।
- पिछोला झील के किनारे चामुण्डा माता का मंदिर स्थित है जहाँ देवी के पद चिन्हो की पुजा की जाती है।
- पिछोला झील के किनारे उदयपुर का राजमहल बना हुआ है जिसे सिटी पेलेस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है।
Lake Pichola :-
- In the fourteenth century, during the reign of Rana Lakha, it was built by a banjara near Pichola village, Maharana Udai Singh got it repaired.
- Presently this captivating lake is spread in the west of Udaipur city in a length of about 7 km.
- Sisarma and Bujhda rivers supply water to this lake.
- Jagnivas and Jagmandir Mahal are built on two islands located in the lake, here is the Lake Palace Hotel.
- At the time of Maharana Karan Singh, Prince Khurram i.e. Shah Jahan had taken refuge in the Jagmandir palace at the time of rebellion from his father Jahangir.
- In the Jangmandir palace itself, during the national movement in 1857 AD, Maharana Swaroop Singh saved 40 Britishers who had fled from the Neemuch cantonment and saved them from revolutionaries.
- Jagniwas Palace is also known as Lac Palace. This palace was built by Maharana Jagatsingh in 1746 AD.
- This palace is considered one of the most beautiful palaces in the world.
- The Chamunda Mata temple is situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, where the footprints of the goddess are worshipped.
- The palace of Udaipur is built on the banks of Lake Pichola, which is also known as City Palace.
