- मांगलिया राजपूतों के इष्टदेव मांगलिया मेहाजी राजस्थान के पाँच पीरों में शामिल हैं।
- मेहाजी का प्रमुख थान बापणी गाँव (जोधपुर) में है, जहाँ प्रतिवर्ष भाद्रप्रद कृष्ण अष्टमी (जन्माष्टमी) को मेला भरता है।
- इनके प्रिय घोड़े का नाम किरड़ काबरा था।
- मेहाजी ने एक औरत को वचन दिया था की वे उसकी गायो की रक्षा करेंगे वह औरत मेहाजी की धर्म बहन थी इस प्रकार से मेहाजी गायो की रक्षा करते हुए वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए
- महेचा मलीनाथ की पुत्री के साथ में मेहाजी का विवाह हुआ
- मेहाजी का लालन पोषण मंगोलिया गोत्र में हुआ था इसीलिए ये मेहाजी मंगोलिया के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है परंतु इनका घराना साँखला राजपूत को माना जाता है

- Mangaliya Mehaji, the presiding deity of the Manglia Rajputs, is one of the five pirs of Rajasthan.
- Mehaji's main station is in Bapani village (Jodhpur), where every year Bhadraprad holds a fair on Krishna Ashtami (Janmashtami).
- His favorite horse was named Kirad Kabra.
- Mehaji had promised a woman that he would protect her cows, that woman was Mehaji's religious sister, thus Mehaji attained martyrdom while protecting the cows.
- Mehaji got married with the daughter of Mahecha Malinath.
- Mehaji was brought up in Mongolia gotra, that is why it is famous as Mehaji Mongolia, but his family is considered to be Sankhla Rajput.
