वनस्पति-
करौली जिला वन सम्पदा की दृष्टि से धनी है। जिले के लगभग 38.59 प्रतिशत भाग पर वन पाये जाते हैं। यहाँ खैर, जामुन, गुलर आदि वृक्ष पाए जाते हैं।
वन्य जीव
कैलादेवी अभयारण्य-यहाँ बाघ, बघेरा, जरख, सियार, साम्भर, चिंकारा, चीतल, नीलगाय, सेही आदि वन्यजीव पाए जाते हैं। 1991 में रणथम्भौर के निकट मानते हुए इसे संरक्षित वन क्षेत्र एवं वन जीव अभयारण्य घोषितकिया गया।

दर्शनीय स्थल :-
कैलादेवी-
यह मंदिर करौली से 20 किमी. दूर स्थित है। यहाँ प्रतिवर्ष मार्च-अप्रेल में मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है। कैलादेवी को अष्टभुजाओं के रूप में स्थापित किया गया है। यह करौली के यदुवंश की कुलदेवी है। प्रत्येक अमावस्या को यहाँ मेला भरता है। यहाँ लांगुरिया गीत गाया जाता है।
मदनमोहन जी का मंदिर-
इस मंदिर में महाराजा गोपालदास द्वारा जयपुर से लाई गई काले संगमरमर की प्रतिमा स्थापित है। यहाँ की चित्रकला भव्य है तथा मंदिर पूरे क्षेत्र में आस्था का बड़ा केन्द्र है।
श्री महावीर जी-
महावीर जी
यह दिगम्बर सम्प्रदाय का प्रमुख तीर्थस्थल है। यहाँ चैत्रसुदी त्रयोदशी से वैशाख कृष्णा द्वितीया तक मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है। यहाँ 24वें तीर्थंकर भगवान महावीर स्वामी की 400 वर्ष पुरानी प्रतिमा स्थापित है। जैनियों के अतिरिक्त श्रीमहावीर जी मीणा एवं गुर्जर समाज के लिए आराध्य हैं। श्री महावीर जी की साध्वी कमलाबाई को महिला शिक्षा साक्षरता के लिए 2005 में कालीबाई महिला साक्षरता उन्नयन पुरस्कार दिया गया।
तिमनगढ़-
मांसलपुर कस्बे के निकट तिमनगढ़ किले का निर्माण 1244 में युदवंशीय शासक तिमनपाल ने करवाया था। किले में कई मूर्तियाँ हैं।
करौली के महल-
करौली में महाराजा गोपालदास के समय का खूबसूरत महल है, जिसके रंगमहल एवं दीवानए-आम को खूबसूरती से निर्मित किया गया है।
फतेहपुर किला-
करौली जिला मुख्यालय से 30 किमी. दूर यह किला यदु शासकों के बड़े जागीरदार हर नगर के ठाकुर घासीराम द्वारा 1702 ई. में निर्मित किया गया।ऊँटगिरि दुर्ग-
15वीं शताब्दी में स्थापित ऊँट गिरि दुर्ग करणपुर के कल्याणपुरा गाँव की ऊँची पर्वत श्रृंखला की सुरंगनुमा पहाड़ी पर स्थित है। यह दुर्ग सामरिक दृष्टि से महत्त्वपूर्ण रहा है। 1506-07 ई. में सिकन्दर लोदी ने इस पर आक्रमण किया था।
बहादुरपुर का किला-
करौली से 15 किमी. दूर ससेड़ गाँव के निकट स्थित बहादुरपुर का किला मुगलकालीन स्थापत्य कला का बेजोड़ नमूना है। नृप गोपाल भवन, मगधराय की छतरी दर्शनीय है।
मण्डरायलका किला-
करौली शहर से 40 किमी. दूर चम्बल नदी के किनारे यह किला स्थित है। यह किला यादवों का पूर्वी प्रवेश द्वार माना जाता था।

Kailadevi-
This temple is 20 km from Karauli. It is situated far away. A fair is organized here every year in March-April. Kailadevi is installed in the form of octagons. It is the Kuldevi of Yaduvansh of Karauli. A fair fills here on every new moon. Here languria song is sung.
Madanmohan's temple-

The black marble statue brought from Jaipur by Maharaja Gopaldas is installed in this temple. The painting here is grand and the temple is a big center of faith in the entire region.
Mahavir ji
It is the main pilgrimage center of the Digambara sect. A fair is organized here from Chaitrasudi Trayodashi to Vaishakh Krishna Dwitiya. A 400-year-old statue of Lord Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankara, is established here. Apart from Jains, Shri Mahavir ji is adorable to Meena and Gurjar society. Shri Mahavir ji's Sadhvi Kamlabai was given Kalibai Women Literacy Upgradation Award in 2005 for female education literacy.
Timangarh-
Timangarh Fort near Mansalpur town was built in 1244 by the Yudvanshi ruler Timanpal. There are many idols in the fort.

Fatehpur Fort-
30 KM from Karauli district headquarter. This fort was built in 1702 AD by Thakur Ghasiram of Har Nagar, a large vassal of the Yadu rulers.
Untgiri Fort-
The Camel Giri Fort, established in the 15th century, is situated on a tunnel-shaped hill in the high mountain range of Kalyanpura village of Karanpur. This fort has been strategically important. It was attacked by Sikandar Lodi in 1506-07 AD.
Bahadurpur Fort-
15 KM from Karauli. The Bahadurpur Fort, located near the village of Sased, is a unique specimen of Mughal architecture. Nrip Gopal Bhawan, the umbrella of Magadharai is worth a visit.
Mandrayalka Fort-
40 KM from Karauli city. This fort is situated on the banks of Chambal river. This fort was considered to be the eastern entrance of the Yadavas.
